Mixed up

"I don't know why I did that."
(He was often heard to say)
As he dressed the bins at night time
And put the teapot out to play!

"I really don't remember: -
These are silly, stupid things
I seem to have peeled the washing up bowl
And tweeted the potato skins!

I've no idea what I did there: -
Why the flowers are on the fire
How the Linguine strands got ironed
Or why the fridge is full of wire!

But no matter what is happening,
And whatever comes to be
I'll keep on mixing things up
And just let myself be me."
